Research on Refining Technology of Gold
(Silver)
Hydrometallurgy, pyrometallurgy and their combinations
can be used for the treatment according to the
characteristics of different gold slime and the
quality requirement of the product for transaction,
to make the gold（silver）product reach the national
standards of number 1 and number 2.
Research on Mineral Processing
Flotation, Gravity Seperation, and Magnetic
Seperation
We are capable of doing research on normal mineral
processing test, and a set of matured and strict
test and research measures according to the characteristics
of different ores have been set up. Lots of mineral
processing tests of different types have been
done since the set up of the institute, which
provided reliable technical data for design and
renovation of the concentration plants.
Separation of Multi-metals
We do the researches of mineral processing not
only for gold and silver ores, but also for muti-metals
such as copper, lead, zinc, iron, nickel, molybdenum,
cobalt, and etc. We do researches on comprehensive
recovery of other valueble metals as well in the
process of gold recovery.
Gold Extraction by Cyanidation
Either small-scaled single tank test or continuous
test of cyanidation leaching can also be done
here, providing data and parameters that fully
meet the actual needs of mine operation.
CIP, RIP, and Zinc Precipitation
As for the processing after cyanidation，we can
do test and research of carbon adsorption, resin
adsorption, and zinc precipitation for gold extraction
according to the requirements of the characteristics
of different ores. Test and research of CIP (Carbon-in-Pulp),
CIL (Carbon-in-Leach), RIP (Resin-in-Pulp) can
be done according to the needs.
Heap Leaching, Tank Leaching
Capable of doing test research on normal heap
leaching and tank leaching，as for some kinds of
refractory oxide ore, pre-treatment can be added
in the process of heap leaching and tank leaching
in order to reach ideal indices.
New Chemical Agents
More than 10 kinds of new chemical agents have
been developed, including flotation agents and
pretreatment agents before leaching, and they
have been successfully used in many mines.

of the Construction Project
Capable of undertaking assessment on environment
influence for the newly built, expansion and rebuilt
projects in all the industries in the country.
We are entitled the second class “Qualification
Certificate on Environment Influence Evaluation
of Construction Project” issued by the state authority.
By many years of research practice in environmental
evaluation, rich experiences have been gained
and a complete evaluation method has been formed.
Research on Mining Methods and System
Engineering
1． Mining
Capable of doing research on the mining method
design and site testing for orebodies with complicated
mining conditions, providing technical consultation
and site services, contracting or cooperating
in mining. We have made many national and ministry
level achievements in scientific research and
special technology in mining for complecated deposits,
cut-and-fill mining technology, and design and
engineering of backfilling system.
In openpit mining of placer deposits, we do
mining plan and design, technical consultation
and site technical services.
2． Rock Mass Reinforcement
The Mining Devision made many achievements in
strengthening and supporting the wall rocks of
the stope, drift and shaft, being capable of doing
technical consultation, technical design, engineering
instruction, engineering contracting and site
engineering in these aspects.
3．Mine Ventilation
The Mining Devision can conduct tests for mine
ventilation system, design and enginering of renovation
of ventilation system, to solve problems for those
mines that have difficulties in ventilation, frozen
shaft, and underground high temperature.
4． Monitoring and Controlling of Ground Pressure
Doing stability monitoring on surface rock moving
in the mining area, rock engineering such as mined
out area and stope, and drift and shaft; safety
evaluation on rock mass, incident forecast of
rock moving, unstablity, and failure; making designing
programme for ground pressure control and performing
engineering instruction or related engineering
contracting.
5． Industrial Sanitation
Capable of doing the monitoring and evaluation
of occupational hazard in various job sites in
the mines, making suggestions for technical measures
to improve operational environment and decrease
occupational diseases.
6． Construction of Filling System and the Backfilling
of Mined-out Area
Capable of doing design and construction of the
filling system of mines, management of mined-out
area of various types and conditions, selection
and preparation of the filling materials, filling
construction and strength test of the filled body.
Research and Development of New Equipment
Mainly targeted at the gold production process,
to research, develop and manufacture new equipment
for all kinds of production process.
