Its features are that on the position of designed idle holes, holes with same diameter as other slotting holes and perimeter holes are drilled, which are reamed to required diameter by staged blasting. The success of this reaming method by blasting significantly simplifies the reaming process, overcomes the shortcoming of mechanical reaming, and reduces the cost of reaming.
