A Carbon Regeneration Furnace

This patent of practical new type is a carbon regeneration furnace. It is a vertical single compartment furnace and is mainly composed of carbon hopper 1, hearth casing 6, furnace body 3, working electrodes 4, 5 at upper and lower part, platform 61, supporting arm 62, discharge disk 9, regulation motor 10, and electrical control system 12. Its features are that carbon hopper 1 is located at the upper charmber of the furnace shell 6, on the bottom of the carbon hopper a stainless steel pipe 2 is connected, and abover it a big mesh stainless steel net 11 is equipped. Between the lower part of the stainless steel pipe and the upper part of electrode there is a gap 21, a gap 36 is also left between the outer rim of the furnace body and the shell. The upper electrode, in column shape, is set at the upper center of of the furnace charmber. The discharging disk 9 is driven by the regulstion motor and located below the charcoal outlet 7, the height of the carbon hopper is greater than the distance between the upper and lower working electrode. The electrical control system supplies power for the furnace and control its operation. This equipment of practical new type is compact in structure, low in energy consumption and safe. Its manufacturing cost is low and there is no noise.
