Electrically Heated Carbon Regeneration Furnace

This patent of practical and new type provides a new carbon regeneration furnace. It is mainly composed of furnace body (1), heat insulation layer (2), furnace inner lining (7), carbon hopper (8), discharger (10) and electrodes (3) and (5), safe electrode (6), and preheating electrode (4). It is a vertical furnace with the carbon hopper (8) being set at the upper part of the furnace, and the discharger (10) at the bottom part of the furnace. Its features lie in that in the heat insulation layer (2) one or three chambers (21) are desgined at equidistance, and the medium casing of the chambers is equipped with inner lining (7) and electrodes, the furnace inner lining is separated from electrodes each other. The electrode (3) connected to the live line is set at the upper middle part of the chamber (21), the safe electrode (6) is set at the top, the electrode connect to the earth line (5) is set at the lower part, the distance from electrodes (5) and (6) to the electrode (3) is 400~100mm, the preheating electrode (4) is set under the main electrode (3), the distance between the two is 50~300mm.
