and Application of Barren Solution Purification
by Two Step Precipitations
The method of two step precipitation is a technique
to purify the barren solution, which is developed
for the cycling use of the barren solution that
made the gold leaching recovery lower because
of continuous accumulation of the heavy metals.
It is an environment treatment science in the
area of environmental protection science related
to hydrometallurgy.
The barren solution purification process by two
step precipitation reached goal of fully circulating
use of the barren solution, realized the “zero”
disposal of the cyanide-containing waste water,
thoroughly solved the thorny problems in environment
protection for gold smelters, and at the same
time it also enhanced the technology level of
further treatment of the cyanide-containing waste
water. This technique can be used by all the gold
operations that employ cyanidation process for
gold extraction, it is in particular suitable
for the renovation of acid recovery process; it
is promising for pupular application in the future.
